Blog monetization rush is so annoying
Yesterday I was trying to find some insight about blog writing on Youtube and oh boy... EVERYFUCKINGBODY TALKS ABOUT BLOGGING ONLY IN THE TERMS OF AUDIENCE GROWTH AND MONETIZATION. It is depressing to see that blogging is treated as a mere business everywhere I look.
For me, blogging is almost like a diary (Almost, because my actual diary is a paper notebook), which additionally serves as means to express yourself to others. Not shilling shitty products, feeding your audience AI text slop, and embedding ads on every page.
